In the early 1950s, a small company with a core expertise in roll forming and extruding metals, was formed. It's also how the Rollex name was born. With just 13 people, this promising young business quickly became a fixture in the manufacturing of aluminum and metal moldings for the kitchen, bath, and home exteriors.

In the late 1950s, Rollex introduced the first modular pre-finished soffit system, the Rollex “V-Alum” in 1959. This revolutionary system was protected with a maintenance free finish and was beveled at the edges; it was a concept that could accommodate overhangs of varying sizes.

Rollex followed up one innovation with another – the Mark II System. This pre-cut soffit panel was ideal for new construction work. It fit any soffit opening, eliminating the need for on-site cutting.

The remodeling of exteriors demands flexibility because no two jobs are the same. This is why Rollex created the System 3 Soffit. Its revolutionary panels were designed to fit various soffit depths and openings. Today, the System 3 Soffit plays a vital role in new construction as well. It is available in solid and vented panels in more than 24 designer colors. System 3 remains Rollex’s best selling soffit system, protecting millions of homes.

In the 1980s, Rollex extended its expertise into siding. The highly successful aluminum line was soon followed with steel. Today, no one offers a more attractive selection in pre-finished soffit, siding and accessories.

At Rollex, we are committed to using renewable resources that can be recycled again and again. From materials used to processes implemented, every aspect of manufacturing and installation is as safe for the environment as possible.

Only one company is trusted to make Rollex products – and that’s Rollex. Every Rollex product is fabricated and warehoused at our facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
